Change Request Freeze 2020/2021
This year’s change request freeze will start at 17h00 (GMT) on Friday 18th December 2020 and ends at 09h00 (GMT) on Monday 4th January 2021.
What is the change request freeze and why do we implement it?
The change request freeze is implemented every year by the ITE Services team during the busy Christmas period. This is implemented to make sure there are no changes to servers or networks which could affect any of ours services as well as our customer’s infrastructure and systems.
Which activities are included?
The change request freeze includes all changes to server configurations, networks, the installation of new equipment (except in cases of an emergency for fault resolution) and any non-essential maintenance or infrastructure changes. We will not undertake any planned works activities that impact our customers unless we are responding to a fault situation.
Will support or fault management be affected?
No, both will continue as normal so please log or report any issues via the normal routes.
